I leave for London in an hour and am looking forward to 29 days of shooting. When I agreed to shoot my first Olympics in Vancouver, it was described as the hardest job I’d ever do. Boy, was that right! I remember not sleeping very much, but loving every minute of it.
This year’s Summer Games take it to another level with more events, more competitions, and more photographers. I’m excited to be a part of this grand event, to work with wonderful people at the IOC and LOCOG, and for the challenge to come home with amazing pictures.
Here’s a picture of some of the gear that I’m taking. Mostly it is camera and computer equipment. The Bose speakers are purely for entertainment purpose only…
Special thanks to John Huet and to Jay at EP Levine for getting me my Canon 5D Mark III and 1D X just in a nick of time.
There are restrictions on what I can post once in London. But, I’ll update as often as I can.
